Visitors keen to track down Bailey family descendants

Rebecca Haynes, who lives in Australia, said she and her partner were keen to track down descendants of the Bailey family.

Rebecca, who will be in town in late May or June wants to make contact with the family, who she thinks could be related to her partner.

“We would be so excited if we could meet family or people who knew of them.

“I have emailed the Rotherham library asking if they have any information on the Bailey family.

“We are researching Charles Henry Bailey born 1911 to Sarah Bailey.

“We think a brother of Charles, named Walter Bailey, lived at 22 West Crescent Sunnyside.”
