Theo the Bear kicks off hospital campaign
STUDENTS welcomed a cuddly character into the classroom as they backed an appeal for the region’s children’s hospital.
Teenagers at Swinton School and Dearne Valley College were among those getting a visit from Sheffield Children’s Hospital mascot Theo the Bear as they marked Make It Better Day.
Swinton Community School embraced fundraising efforts for the hospital’s Make it Better appeal with special assemblies for the lower school years and finishing off the week with a non-school uniform day, while Dearne Valley College students got on their bikes for a Tour de France-inspired fundraising attempt.
