Teen queen Hayley aims to be best of British

WANNABE model Hayley Pashley will take to the catwalk in the final of a national contest after beating off competition from thousands of other hopefuls.

The 15-year Brinsworth Comprehensive student has made the final of Miss Teen British Isles, which will see 30 girls battling it out in Southport on October 27.

Finalists will rehearse on the morning of the contest before parading for judges in evening and casual wear.

Hayley, who stands to win £2,000 in cash and £10,000 worth of other prizes if she comes out on top, said that she was “excited but nervous” about her bid for glory.

She added: “I’ve been modelling for three years now, but don’t really tend to do many beauty pageants.

“I thought I would give this one ago — and now I’m in the final.

“I’ve had a lot of support from photographers and other models who I’ve worked with over the years.”
