Soft play and pancakes in Wath at half-term

ALL aboard the play bus — Wath is the place for soft play and pancake races this half-term.

Wath Learning Community Co-operative Trust is organising a series of activities in the town on February 9, including a play area inside a bus offering 45-minute sessions for £1, which will be parked outside the town hall.

Play bus sessions can be booked on the hour from 9am to 1pm but parents must stay with their children.

There will also be pancake-based fun and games, including pancake races, throughout the day and the Town Hall will be open for tours at 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Refreshments will be on offer in the St James Room and there will also be a craft stall.

A sale of pre-loved (second hand) uniform is being organised, with an appeal for donations issued through schools and parents to be updated once garments have been sorted.

Uniform is required for all the schools within the Wath Learning Community — West Melton Primary, Brampton Cortonwood Infants, Brampton Ellis Primary, Wath C of E, Wath Victoria, Our Lady & St Josephs, Wath Central, and Wath Comprehensive.

Uniform can be handed in to any school.
