Search begins for Rotherham's best pork pie

That is why here at the Advertiser we thought it only right that we help the community and find the best in the borough.

But we need your help.

If you know a butcher who creates what you think is the best pork pie, we need you to place your vote below.

Whether it is topped with pickle, cheese or something slightly different altogether, we want to know where you visit to pick up your pork pie.

When the public vote closes we will purchase a pork pie from the top five butchers as voted for by you.

We will then complete the ‘Tiser taste test and pick the overall winner, who will be awarded the prestigious prize of Rotherham’s best pork pie, just in time for the festive celebrations.

The public vote will close on Monday, December 12 when the top five pork pies from the public vote will then be taste tested by our expert judging panel.

One pork pie will then be awarded with a certificate to celebrate Rotherham’s best pork pie.
