Bri said the band were hoping for a successful return, adding: “It was our band’s debut gig with the new-line up last November so we’re hoping for a repeat of the great turn out on the night.”

They have big plans for the year, with a headlining slot at

Heaven & Hull in May, shows in Lancaster and Bradford and a mini-tour to Japan in June.

“Oliver Dawson Saxon (Oliver’s previous band) played in Tokyo just before the pandemic and were due to go back but then Covid struck, so it will be the Army who heads out this time to debut there,” said Brian.

Chantel McGregor is a former guitar prodigy who has built a strong live reputation and worked with the likes of music legend Joe Bonamassa, on two of his UK tours.
