Return of Wentworth Church Music Festival
A FESTIVAL celebrating string, brass and organ music and the joy of choral singing returns next weekend.
Wentworth Church Music Festival runs from next Thursday to Sunday, September 22 to 25.
It is back after an enforced break of two years but organisers said the event would provide an “unforgettable” experience for audiences.
The programme is as follows:
- Made2Measure Brass — Thursday at 7.30pm.
- Simply Strings — Friday at 7.30pm.
- Organ Recital by Chris Viney Reader — Saturday at 1pm.
- Thurnscoe Harmonic Male Voice Choir — Saturday at 7pm.
- The New Chamber Choir. Free public rehearsal on Sunday from 12.30pm; free choral evensong at 5.15pm on Sunday.
