Region’s music celebrated at Wentworth festival

A FOUR-day festival of music will feature choirs and musicians from across the region.

The 2016 Wentworth Church Music Festival kicks off on Wednesday, September 21, with a performance by the Thurnscoe Harmonic Male Voice Choir, led by their musical director, Tony Jermy.

The choir are fresh from their concert in Kirchberg in the Austrian Tyrol, where they were joined by members of other choirs and performed as The Yorkshire Mixture.
