Protest group film aims to keep Dearne frack-free
A FILM which tells the story of families living with the shale gas industry in Australia is being shown by a protest group.
Frack Free Dearne Valley is screening the hour-long movie by filmmaker Ian R Crane as part of its protest against plans for shale gas mining — known as fracking — locally.
Voices From The Gasfields will be shown at the Dearne Playhouse on Washington Road, Goldthorpe, on Tuesday, July 12, starting at 7pm.
There will be free admission and doors open at 6.30pm.
