PICTURES: Pride in Rotherham’s diversity
SUN-WORSHIPPING Rotherham folk showed plenty of pride as they turned out in force for the town’s first Pink Picnic.
The lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans pride event saw dozens rolling out their rugs at Clifton Park for the first event of its kind in the borough.
It was organised by LGBT youth group Pride of Rotherham, which draws its membership from various backgrounds and organisations aiming to promote and celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community living in or visiting the area.
