Mum’s table top sale will help fund memorial garden for son
Paula Allen, whose seven-year-old son Liam died suddenly from brain damage due to an epileptic seizure in 2019, is coordinating the event at St James’ Church Hall in Cambridge Street, Rotherham, on Saturday (August 21).
Children will have the chance to meet Elsa and Spiderman, while grown-ups can browse stalls selling pampering products, wax melts, gifts, bric-a-brac and crafts.
There will also be a tombola and raffle.

Paula, of East Dene, aims to use the proceeds to help fund a garden of remembrance at Badsley Primary School, where Liam was a pupil and which his siblings attend.
She added: “It would be amazing if we could raise lots so we can also help the school with funds towards the new forest school they want to create.
“There will be a memorial bench and lots of flowers for the children to enjoy.
