Meet Frozen favourites at Advertiser's festive fair

THERE’S a rare opportunity to look inside Wentworth Woodhouse - and meet Frozen favourites Anna, Elsa and Olaf - as the Rotherham Advertiser stages the annual Christmas Fair on Sunday.

The fair is inside the house for the first time and the Ireland Colliery Brass Band from Chesterfield will welcome you when the doors open at 11am, when you can make your way to Santa’s Grotto - should you have children with you - to see Father Christmas and his helpers, Anna and Elsa from Frozen.

For the older children (and the grown-ups) there is also a Dinosaur Experience.

The Christmas Fair includes 65 exhibitor stands with unusual gifts from all over the country.

From the lower floor in the Pillared Hall, continuing upstairs along six state rooms, you can browse all the intertwining rooms to make sure you visit all the stands.

There will be a special appearance throughout the day from renowned saxophonist Snake Davis, who will be playing on the upper floor.

Outside, there will be plenty of catering facilities and the tea room will be open in the house for mulled wine and mince pies.

The fair opens from 11am to 4pm, and admission is £2.50 for adults and children under 14 are free.
