Industrial past set to be revealed
FIND out more about the area’s industrial past later this month, courtesy of Elsecar Heritage Centre.
Guides will offer a tour to help people discover what it was like to live and work in the iron and coal village of the Fitzwilliam estate.
People should meet at the visitor centre at 12.30pm on Sunday, April 17. To book visit shop.barnsley-museums.com. The event costs £3 per person.
