Here comes Santa on his . . . speedboat!

FATHER Christmas will be swapping his sleigh for something a little bit sportier this week as he arrives for a very special day of festive celebrations for all the family at Thrybergh Country Park.

Santa will be arriving at his grotto via speedboat on the lake, weather permitting, on Sunday between 10am and 1pm for a traditional festive family fun day.

There will chance to try out Christmas crafts with the park rangers, or take a short walk to find Santa's lost helpers around the park.

There will be a small charge for some activities.
