Gulliver's Travels sequel to hit the stage

A NEW comedy tells the story of literary character Gulliver’s return home from his adventures.

The play, appearing at Doncaster’s Cast theatre on November 3 as part of a national tour, uses music and projections to tell a strange tale.

Zoe Seaton, from Big Telly Theatre Company, said: “To tackle a classic story, by Jonathan Swift no less, was slightly daunting to begin with but we had a lot of fun with the script, imagining what Gulliver would have actually been like when he sailed back into town after 25 years away from his family.

“We were interested in what the impact on the family would be of having such an extraordinary father.”
