Family fun at Wath town gala

The  grounds of the Town Hall and Montgomery Hall will host the afternoon of entertainment and attractions next Saturday from 1pm to 4pm.

The packed programme includes music from Barnsley Concert Band, a big prize tug of war contest, field sports and games, fire engine rides, a flower and produce show, raffle and tombola, bouncy castle, face painting and fairground rides, plus live performances Cast Academy and Wath Comprehensive Cheerleaders.

There will also be a chance to meet one of the stars of the hit film Minions and a dog show run to Kennel Club rules.

Sandiwches and refreshments will be on offer in the adjoining St James’ Room from members of the Mothers’ Union.
