Eyes on the sky at park's stargazing event
TELESCOPES at the ready — all eyes will be trained on the skies at Clifton Park next weekend.
Experts from Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society are teaming up with the Friends of Clifton Park for a stargazing session at the park’s Garden House next Saturday, February 20, from 6pm to 8.30pm.
There will be displays and presentations on the night and amateur astronomers are invited to bring their own telescopes and pick up tips from the MSAS members.
Tea and coffee will be available.
