Duo bring ancient tales with bass, fiddle and banjo to Maltby

Miranda Sykes of Show of Hands and Hannah Martin, from Edgelarks and Gigspanner Big Band, join forces to present a set of songs that take them back to their shared roots.

They will be playing The Wesley Centre in Maltby in Sunday, September 11, having linked up after playing together in Steve Knightley’s Wake the Union Band and at the Royal Albert Hall.

After playing socially, they began rehearsing and have now set down tracks in tandem.

Their music aims to tell ancient tales with the aid of bass, fiddle, and banjo.
