Cyclists invited on Tickhill ride
TICKHILL and its surroundings will act as the scenic backdrop to an organised free bike ride on Sunday.
The 17-mile ride — featuring a stop at a tea room in Braithwell — sets off from Maltby Leisure Centre at 10am and is one of a series organised by British Cycling and Rotherham Borough Council.
The ride is expected to take around three hours with around two hours of cycling.
Children aged 8 to 15 must ride with an adult. Car parking is available at Maltby Leisure Centre.
