Crafty Christmas in store for Bluebell Wood kids

YORKSHIRE bikers' club the White Rose GoldWings, gave youngsters at the Bluebell Wood Hospice a Christmas boost when they delivered a box of craft materials.

The arts and crafts materials were donated by club members at their recent Christmas party as a gift for the hospice in Dinnington.

The materials will be used by patients and their siblings.

Wickersley member, Merilyn Crofts said: “Our club has supported the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in the past with both gifts and cash donations, but on this occasion, the hospice did indicate that they were short of art and craft materials for use by the children.

“This gave me the idea of collecting as much new materials as we could and as usual our members stepped up to the mark with their amazing generosity.

“One of our club’s business contacts, Robert Butler, of Butler Printing, Thurcroft, also contributed to the craft bundle with his donation of a variety of materials, art card and papers.”

Merilyn continued: “We hope the children enjoy our Christmas gift and we look forward to returning to the hospice next year, when we will be taking our Honda GoldWings on the club’s Easter Egg run to give Easter eggs and trike rides to children and staff, around the hospice grounds.”
