Choir sings for Rotherham Hospice
A CHOIR which has helped raise more than £50,000 for the Rotherham Hospice is preparing for its annual Christmas concert in aid of the charity.
The annual Christmas celebration charity concert, organised by Margaret Duckworth, will be held at St Margaret’s Parish Church, Swinton, on Thursday.
Festive music will be performed by the Margaret Duckworth Singers with accompaniment from Crofton Silver Band and performances from contralto Angela Hartley.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are now available, priced at £7 for adults and £4 for children, from libraries in Swinton, Wath, Mexborough and Conisbrough.
