Braithwell Church and Country Fair June 8

At the Ruddle Centre playing field noon-5pm. Opening ceremony 1pm. Live music from Maltby Miners Brass Band and The Beats, The Gillian Banks Theatre School, arts and crafts, children's face painting, cakes, model planes, classic cars, military vehicles, farm machinery, sheep shearing and alpacas, stalls and attractions. Hawks of Steele are returning with their stand and flying demonstration. Children’s go-karts, football, bowling and golf competitions. Children’s unicorn and pony rides. Home-craft baking competition. Grand draw with 1st prize £100. Entry £1, children free.
