Appeal to help Anston community clear-up

Anston councillors Jo Burton and Judy Dalton are co-ordinating the litter pick on Saturday (18).

All are welcome to join up at 10am at the Little Mester pub on Nursery Road for a community clean-up in the neighbouring woodland. 

Cllr Dalton said: “This wooded area seems to have become a bit of a dumping ground, so if you would like to see it restored to its original glory then please help.

“Even half an hour would be great, just turn up in your wellies, and litter pick equipment will be provided for you to use.

“Together we can turn this area into the attractive place it used to be, and places that our children can go and enjoy without worry.”
