DANCE music fans were in their element at farm and campsite’s latest music event.

A clutch of DJs took to the decks at Hooton Lodge Farm last Saturday for Fam Fest, featuring hit-making artists Ultrabeat.

It was the latest in a series of live music events at the site this summer.

DJ Adam Milner and fellow mastermixers, including Shaun “Banger” Scott, performed last month, raising £2,500 for Weston Park.

Next Saturday, Loz Fest will take place at the venue.

It’s named after 18-year–old Loz Taylor, who died of bladder carcinoma three years ago and is being organised by Terri Taylor on what would have been the Wombwell teenager’s 21st birthday.

The event will feature DJs, performers and the Sing for Survival Choir.

Charlotte Buck, who runs Hooton Lodge Farm, said: “We also have a licensed bar, food vendors, face painting, rides and inflatables.

“The event is free but people can choose to buy tickets and make a donation, and all money raised will go directly to Weston Park.”

The festival runs from noon to 6pm on Saturday, July 29.
