Drink in atmosphere as beer festival returns

ROTHERHAM’S biggest party is back for 2023 and aiming to celebrate pride in the white rose county.

The Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival will return to Magna from February 23 to 25, with the largest selection of hand-pulled beers available at any Yorkshire festival — more than 150 from all over the UK.

That’s not to mention the ciders, wine, gin, prosecco and free soft drinks for the designated drivers — and the live entertainment.

Music will be provided across two stages, with the Everly Pregnant Brothers, Stone Roses tribute Resurrection and the Magnetics all lined up to make a festival return.

This year’s festival poster once again stars mascot Baa’sil and the event itself — where Yorkshire’s Champion Beer will be crowned — is being branded as Baaht’At: The Great Yorkshire Beer Festival.

It is also a huge charity money-spinner, with all profits going to Rotherham Cancer Care.

Tickets are priced at £10 (with discounts for CAMRA members) and available from https://www.wegottickets.com/f/12968.
