BGT star Myra DuBois back in Rotherham for Women's Euros kick-off

A BRITAIN’S Got Talent semi-finalist returned home yesterday to support the celebration of the UEFA Women’s Euros in the town centre.

France beat Italy by a comprehensive 5-1 margin in a scintillating game at the New York Stadium with a famous face back in town before the big match.

Myra DuBois, a drag act and entertainer from Rotherham, hosted the Fan Stage for the Women’s Euros at All Saints’ Square.

She is famous for taking part in series 14 of BGT in 2020, during which she sang “I Know Him So Well” alongside celebrity judge Amanda Holden.

Myra took to social media to promote Rotherham and the tournament game as a “fantastic event”.

Myra described yesterday’s event as a “blast” and how “delighted” she was to be back in Rotherham.

She added in a cheeky social media post: “An icon of the Rotherham landscape which has stood as long as the townsfolk can remember, and she’s standing in front of Rotherham Minster. How gorgeous to spend an afternoon in my home time.”
