Warnock ready for final push

NEIL Warnock says his on-song Rotherham United team need fear no-one in the crucial Championship run-in, starting with tomorrow's toughie at Ipswich.

The Millers take their survival fight to Portman Road after an eye-catching run of three wins from four that has re-ignited their chances of staying up.

The victories over promotion chasers Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough and last Saturday's back-from-the-dead draw with high-flying Derby County has exceeded all expectations and lifted Rotherham to within a point of fourth-bottom MK Dons.

But Warnock knows he needs every last man on top of his game and his best players fit and firing if they're to carry on the momentum into tomorrow and pick it up again after the two-week international break.

He told the Advertiser: “We've got nine games left and with respect, we're not playing Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough, Derby and Ipswich every week. We've had a hell of a run of games so we've nobody to fear really but it's just nice to have this one game now and then a break because we are going to need everybody for the run-in which starts with seven games in April.

“We only know that we've got another difficult game against a team right up near the play-offs and after this we've got two weeks before the final push.

“I don't think there will be any chance of the lads not giving everything this week, they will all be more than ready for it."
