The 31-year-old centre back joins defender Joe Mattock and forward Jonson Clarke-Harris in committing his future to the Millers.

He has put pen-to-paper on a new one-year-deal and will be part of manager Paul Warne's squad next year as the club plan for life in League One.

The Millers are still waiting on midfielder Richie Smallwood, the final out-of-contract player offered a deal, with a decision expected in the next few days.
