Virgin tie up new deal

The Dinnington team have joined forces with Moscow-based Marussia Motors and from next season will be known as Marussia Virgin Racing.

That, says Booth, will underpin their determination to break free of the new teams group and try to challenge the next level of established teams.

Team Principal Booth, who has overseen the team’s development from concept to track action, is confident that the significant partnership investment from Marussia will give the team the stability and focus to strengthen its position within the sport.

“It’s massive,” he said yesterday. “The future was solid but this makes us secure for four years.
