Titans grab five points in safety fight

TITANS took another stride towards Championship safety after playing a massive get out of jail card at Moseley.

Craig West’s side won 30-29 in a nerve-shredding finale, having been 29-10 down with half and hour to play.

But in a sensational fightback they added to Craig Voisey’s first half try with touch-downs from Neil Chivers, Jon Feeley and Ross Batty to make it 29-27 with minutes left. Mike Whitehead missed with the conversion which would have levelled, only to nose Rotherham ahead with an 80th minute penalty.

But the drama wasn’t over as ultra-reliable Moseley kicker Tristan Roberts in the fourth minute of added time with a penalty in front of the sticks, but dramatically carved his attempt wide.
