BACK row forward Tom Calladine is to skipper Rotherham Titans in the forthcoming campaign - and he says he's delighted.
The livewire 27 year old will be in his third season at Clifton Lane and coach Andy Key had no qualms about handing him the captain's armband.
Calladine is looking forward to what he says is a big honour.
"I'm very happy because they're a great bunch of lads here and it's an honour to lead them on the pitch," he said.
"It'll be good to lead the Titans out in our first home game against my old Nottingham and I hope I can do the club proud."
Rotherham kick off on Sunday, September 3, against the Green and Whites.
