Titans braced for a bruiser

COACH Justin Burnell says his Rotherham Titans side can expect a battle royale this Saturday when they head to Championship form side Jersey.

The Channel Islanders have won their last seven league and cup games and can dump Rotherham to the foot of the table if they win and Richmond overcome London Scottish, also on Saturday.

Burnell will tell side side they'll have to front up at St. Peter with the Jerseymen seeking revenge after their 23-16 defeat at Clifton Lane in November.

He said: "“Jersey are a big physical team who’ve had some good results of late.

“But we beat them at home and matched their physicality. We do have a good scrum and set-piece and hopefully we can utilise that again because it will be a hard game."
