COMEBACK man Jon Skurr has declared himself fit and raring to go after several weeks on the sidelines.

The back rower put in a terrific first half display in Saturday's 52-10 romp against ailing Birmingham and Solihull, scoring two tries and making a third for Andrew Henderson.

Skurr, who has been out for two months after breaking a foot in an A-team game, was delighted with his performance.

He said: "I'd like to think I did enough to force my way into Craig West's thinking.

"It was hard work but I was happy enough and I certainly want to get my first team place back."

Skurr is likely to feature in a stronger team to face Ayr on Friday night as West again shuffles his pack following Saturday's win.
