The striker has been stuck on ten goals since early January and missed the chance to add a couple to his tally at Wolves on Saturday.

Frecklington told the Advertiser: "We have so much faith in Danny, when he goes through we think he's going to score, that's how good he's been this season. We're disappointed, he's disappointed, but I'm sure he will get more before this season is over.

"Against Wolves, Semi (Ajayi) had a chance from a few yards at the end but it is just not going in for us at the moment. We need one to just fall over the line and hopefully kick-start something."

The 1-0 defeat at Molineux was the tenth in the last 11 games for a Rotherham side on the verge of the drop from the Championship and Frecklington, who has only recently returned from injury, was sad to have to tell a familiar story.

"It was one of our better away performances but, again, the problem is we can't score goals," he said.

"We had a good few chances, probably three or four that we could have scored. Lewis Price Price made a great save from a penalty, so I think we were a bit fortunate there, but overall I thought we were well in the game and probably had the better chances."
