Rotherham United expected to announce Brighton scout as Head of Recruitment

ROTHERHAM United are expected to name Brighton and Hove Albion's European scout Jamie Johnson as their new Head of Recruitment.

The Millers have been searching for someone to oversee their recruitment strategy and it is understood that Johnson is the man selected.

The club have said that their key new signing is working his notice period with his current club and is expected to start work at the New York Stadium early in the new year.

Johnson is the son of renowned former Liverpool and QPR scout Mel Johnson and worked with previous Millers boss Kenny Jackett at Millwall.
