Rotherham Town's opening game called off
ROTHERHAM Town have had to cancel their long-awaited first fixture of the cricket season.
Town had been due to host Sprotbrough today at Clifton Lane in their South Yorkshire Senior League opener but the media tower and advertising hoardings used by Rotherham Titans Rugby Club, with whom they ground share, have not been removed. They restrict the boundary to less than League rules. Titans completed their home league programme last weekend.
Clifton Lane was also due to host a Rotherham Town second team game tomorrow.
