ANGRY Ronnie Moore is demanding big improvements after seeing Rotherham United embarrassed by bottom-of-the-table Darlington for the second time in three weeks on Saturday.

A goal in each half from Tadhg Purcell and Gareth Waite completed a 2-0 win at the Darlington Arena and an unlikely double for the struggling Quakers over Moore's listless side.

Of the 14 points they've collected this season, nearly half have been against Rotherham.

Working hard
Moore said: "It was embarrassing. If the players aren't embarrassed about losing six points to the bottom of the league then they want locking up.

"We tried a new system to get the ball on the floor but we kept pumping balls long.

"We are miles better than that but we are off the pace at the moment. It's a matter of getting the players in and working hard."

The loss was the second on the bounce for the Millers, who are now down to fifth spot in League Two—six points off the automatic play-off positions.

Still with the benefit of games in hand on most of their promotion rivals, they host Dagenham and Redbridge tomorrow.
