WILL Vaulks lapped up a winning end to the year, even if they triumph at Walsall didn’t score highly for beauty.
The utility man, who put in another sterling shift at centre-half before switching to midfield, saluted the Millers for seeing a tricky game through.
He told the Advertiser: “It was a pretty ugly game and they were three scrappy goals really but we’re delighted with the win. Apart from the one we conceded, we defend well. They threw the kitchen sink at us at the end but we’re showing now we can stand up to it. It looks like our away form is on the up.
“Things are more like they were when we had a little run like this earlier in the season.”
