REACTION: "Best team we've played at home," says Warne

ROTHERHAM United boss Paul Warne says that Wigan are the best team to come to the AESSEAL New York Stadium so far this season, and has tipped them for promotion.

His Millers side were outplayed for large parts of the game by top-of-the-table Latics, who ran out comfortable 3-1 winners, sentencing the Rotherham to a sixth league game without victory.

But Warne was was eager to highlight just how formidable today's opponents were.

He said: "I thought they were excellent, they were definitely the best team we have played here.

"I believe we set up the most positive way we could, I brought Ball into the fray and I was quite happy prior to the game.

"I knew it was going to be difficult, I watched them against Donny in mid-week and they annihilated them.

I didn't think we stopped the crosses well enough first half.

"It's been a couple of tough games. I thought we were better than Shrews, but I can't honestly say we were better than Wigan."
