Paralympian Will is guest of honour

ROTHERHAM-based Paralympic table tennis champion Will Bayley will be the guest of honour at the Special Olympics South Yorkshire sports taster day in Sheffield on Sunday.

Bayley added gold in Rio to accompany the silver he won at London 2012 and he will be on hand at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield to provide a demonstration of the skills that earned him Paralympic glory.

Around 90 people of all ages will attend the taster day and have the opportunity to try seven different sports, all delivered by partners of the Special Olympics South Yorkshire partnership, of which Yorkshire Sport Foundation is the lead organisation.
