Millers season ticket sales on a high

THE feelgood factor at Rotherham United has been underlined by booming season ticket sales, according to chairman Tony Stewart.

And the numbers have already beaten last season as the Millers look forward to the new campaign under Andy Scott and with work having kicked off on building the club’s new stadium.

With the League Two campaign not starting until they entertain Oxford United on August 6, the club looks set for a big opening day crowd.

Ticket sales have been boosted by a price freeze and the promise of priority seating at the club's new stadium for the 2012/2013 season.

"Season ticket sales have been really encouraging and with the new season on the horizon, and work starting on the new stadium, it is a really exciting time," said Mr Stewart.
