Millers ex-chairman Anton Johnson to tell all in new book

CONTROVERSIAL former Rotherham United chairman Anton Johnson is to lift the lid on his time at the club in his autobiography.

Bungs, Boardrooms and Butchery, which is out in April, will cover his many years in the game, including his infamous reign at Millmoor from 1979 to 1983 when the club enjoyed big success but at a financial cost.

Johnson, who turned 70 last week and now spends a lot of his time in America, wants to tell the real story of what happened.

He said: "It will cover lots of things, the good and the bad.

"I'm going to set the record straight on what really happened at Rotherham and I guarantee it will change people's perceptions of me."

Prospective England manager Harry Redknapp has agreed to pen a foreward for the book, with Johnson having given him his first managerial job at Bournemouth almost 30 years ago.
