MILLERS boss Ronnie Moore reckons his side have put themselves in a great position in the League Two promotion race after victory at Lincoln City on Saturday.

Rotherham took advantage of the early dismissal of Imps defender Moses Swaibu to win 2-1 courtesy of goals by Adam Le Fondre—his 22nd of the season—and Gary Roberts.

Steve Lennon netted a late consolation for the home side.

Moore said: "I'm pleased. We've had two great wins now and it puts us bang in there again.

"Give Lincoln credit. They were down to ten men but they fought for everything. There were times when we played really well and other times when he we gave the ball away too easily.

"Overall though we deserved to win."

The victory put Rotherham within three points of third-placed Bury with two games in hand.

The Millers now have two home successive games in which to force home their advantage, hosting Torquay United on Friday night and promotion rivals Shrewsbury Town next Monday night in a match which will be screened live on SKY tv.
