Keep it positive, say Titans

TITANS face the prospect of having relegation confirmed this weekend - but it’s not all doom and gloom at Clifton Lane.

They head to Jersey for one of the toughest tests of the Championship season knowing that defeat could see them condemned to National One next term.

Coach Nic Rouse says Rotherham will continue to go down fighting after two quality performances against high-flying Ealing and then leaders Bristol last weekend, when they lost 24-3 in awful conditions.

Said Rouse: “I was proud of the way we battled against Bristol, we made them work for every point.

“We won’t accept relegation until it’s certain and we’ll head to Jersey with every intention of pulling off a shock win.”

Kick-off on Saturday is 3pm.
