Frozen off...five times!

BOTH Rotherham United and Titans fell victim to the Christmas weather with FIVE postponements in just three days.

And now the job is to find spare dates in the fixture calendar for the revised fixtures.

The Millers' games against Darlington and Chesterfield were both frozen off while the Titans tries three times to get their game on against Birmingham and Solihull. The original staging was Saturday and the club tried without success to get the Clifton lane pitch fit on both Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

Said a Lane spokesman: "We tried all we could but there was no way we could get it fit enough to play."
