Free-scoring hockey men close in on title
ROTHERHAM closed in on the Yorkshire Division One title as they dished out a six-goal lesson to Leeds University, with newcomer Danny Needham playing a starring role.
In their penultimate home game of the season, they faced a Leeds side full of confidence following an impressive victory the week before. But Needham scored twice as Rotherham proved too strong.
The 6-1 triumph kept them four points clear as they press for a return to the county's Premier Division — and they have the chance to keep up the charge at lowly York tomorrow.
