Frecklington back in the fray for Millers

SKIPPER Lee Frecklington will rejoin the Millers' relegation fight this weekend – and the experienced Kirk Broadfoot could be back on board by Christmas.

Frecklington has overcome the injury which has sidelined him since October and is expected to be in the squad to face QPR tomorrow.

Broadfoot tested his complicated back problem in a 45-minute runout for the reserves in midweek and caretaker manager Paul Warne expects him to be in contention by Christmas if he continues his current rate of progress.

A late fitness test will be run on goalkeeper Lee Camp as Rotherham, 13 points from the Championship safety line, look to start reeling in teams above. A trip to Fulham follows on Tuesday.

Warne said: “I'm just trying to get the players to be positive and if we can pick up some points it will give the lads a lease of life going to Tuesday.”
