Errie glad to beat old pals

ERRIE Claassens was delighted to put one over on his former club at London Welsh, saying it was the four first half tries which killed the Clifton Lane men off.

Claassens set the ball rolling in the opening minute when he burst through to score and the Exiles went on to rack up a 25-3 interval lead.

He said: “In the first half we played really well and perhaps scoring the four tries put Rotherham out of the game.

“The few injuries they picked up the previous week also made a difference. We played well at the right time and sealed it in that first half.

“You can see that Rotherham are a decent team but I think we just outplayed them."

Titans are at home to Birmingham and Solihull tomorrow (3pm)
