Woodhouse, fighting out of Dave Coldwell’s Rotherham gym, takes on West Bromwich’s Dean Hickman at the KC Stadium and is confident of claiming an 11th win in 12 fights and making amends for a controversial defeat last time out.

It was his last outing at welterweight with 29-year-old Woodhouse having dropped down a division and facing Hickman tonight at his new weight and also over eight rounds for the first time.

Said Coldwell: “Curtis is going there to stop this guy and make a big statement because he wants a title filght in the new year—and we’d love to put it on in Rotherham.”
