Cresswell completes Millers deal

CENTRE half Ryan Cresswell has completed a three-year deal to join Rotherham United

The Swinton-born defender becomes Ronnie Moore's first summer signing, in an undisclosed deal with Bury. Cresswell formerly played with Sheffield United and had a brief loan stint with the Millers three years ago.

"He's a Rotherham lad and is determined to do well for his home-town club," said Moore.

Cresswell has also had loan spells at Halifax, Morecambe and Macclesfield and will be the first piece in Moore's new defensive jigsaw following the departures of Pablo Mills and Ian Sharps.
